John, I am deeply grateful for the tools you have provided me in
your courses. You are obviously a naturally gifted teacher
committed to training as opposed to selling. I am the widowed
mother of a terminally ill son, housebound in a nondescript
suburb. We were living hand to mouth on disability benefits.
When my insurance policy matured, with great discipline I tried
to invest it with professional money managers. They lost 80% of
it. I thought my cat could manage the same feat for a smaller
fee. I bought my son's computer to educate him, internet too and
he taught me to use it (well, sort of use it!) and I discovered
the concept of trading. When we got a backdated payment for
Invalid Care Allowance I was determined to get into earning,
albeit without leaving home.
We were so financially vulnerable it was imperative to use our
resources with utmost care. As they say 'when the pupil is ready
the teacher will appear' unfortunately a lot of the 'teachers'
are actually salesman and entrepreneurs who eat the unwary for
breakfast. 50% of our capital disappeared in the salesman's
tummies and then ALONG CAME JOHN! and thats just the way I will
write it in my 'Dervas' type book!
I am not so humble as to think myself 'nobody' but realistically
I am an 'anybody' and YOU can teach 'anybody' Your calm, patient
presentations reduce psychological stress and instil confidence.
I particularly like the way you do not assume ANY prior
knowledge. I had just about given up on Finspreads despite all
their literature until you visually guided me around their
website and made it all seem easy-peasy. Your teaching
programmes are pragmatic with everything necessary in there and
all the flannel left out.
Given the amount of expertise, planning and hard work that has
obviously gone into your programmes, I am very happy to pay a
fair price and fortunately that IS what you charge- a fair
price. The only reason I am not a big time trader already is I
have a temporary problem 'I have seen the enemy - and it is me'.
You have given me all the tools but I am not ready to risk any
more big bucks until I have mastered trade management and money
management without my own greed and fear sabotaging me.
Your follow up support is
helping here too. The 'predictor' recommendation will help
enormously in forming, testing, applying a trading plan with
clear parameters so I can work towards trading consistently with
well defined exits/exits and contingencies. A year ago I thought
I was crazy to try this and I kept it very quiet, now I
absolutely KNOW I will be one of the 5% who succeed. My toes are
curling up in delightful anticipation of when the DHSS come to
means test my son for his mobility allowance next time and I can
tell them to 'kiss my undercarriage'. I would not ever wish to
see anybody experience the losses or unwary purchases which have
caused us so much grief, so I would not lightly offer a
recommendation unless it was very sincere but I truly believe
your work represents very real useful tools and excellent value.
Certainly ignorance cost me far more than your materials cost
me. I promise to give you an honourable mention in my book - you
have earned it.........
You can use any of the above in any way which will benefit you
and any future students. If I remember correctly - it was some
months ago - I think I did look at trade2win and unless I am
mixing up my websites I seem to remember it was a lot of useless
chatter by people who want to talk about doing it instead of
doing it and whingers who want something for nothing off other
peoples backs. However, if it would help I will revisit it and
try to 'set the record straight' and try to be charitable to all
the 'whingers' - they might just be the taxpayers who have been
supporting my sons torturous journey through life with Muscular
Dystrophy. They have reason to be grateful to you because now
those taxpayers wont have to pay for my sons funeral when the
time comes. At least I will be able to bury him with pride and
dignity.
Just remember John you are
doing a very good job for a fair price. You are not fleecing
anybody and you are not just funding peoples dreams of champagne
and sports cars you are sometimes enabling people to live with
decency in otherwise adverse circumstances. I will pass on
everything I learn to other people - the good that we do goes on
and on.
I think what I will
do is send you a brokers statement pehaps a year from now which
you can put up on your website as a sort of proof."

student in your January course I would like to echo Rabs
sentiments as I find that your regular updates to be very
encouraging. Getting share tips is not that interesting as there
are a whole host of people out there to provide this but to have
a teacher with interest in providing constant guidance and
updates on trading information is both rare and valuable. I
personally haven't started trading yet as I am in the process of
switching my personal pension portfolio from the flagging
account of a major institution and transferring it to a SIPP
account where I will be able to personally manage it. I am
learning to trade covered warrants as this is one of the closest
financial instruments to spread betting allowed within SIPP.
Since this is my retirement fund you can understand that I am
taking every step to ensure I have all the necessary information
even though this is taking time. I hope to take the plunge in
spread betting after I have set up the chart watch probably
using Prophet Net however I would like to also follow the UK
market. Would you have any advice on how to do this John. Also
do you have any experience of web based data charting
information crashing and on this basis being a little
